I’ve been editing and writing healthcare materials since 1984. I’d completed a PhD in drug addiction and found the literature research and reporting more interesting than the experiments! Fortunately I had a PhD supervisor who was also a writer and who pointed me in the direction of science publishing.

I’ve worked for mainstream publishers, a biomedical literature database provider, NHS organizations, PR agencies, charities, pharmaceutical companies and medical education agencies producing promotional materials for the industry. This broad background means that I’m comfortable working right across the board in healthcare communications. Over the past seven years I have focused increasingly on mental health and public health.

I’ve written, edited and produced a great variety of healthcare education and marketing materials. You can see more about these under services.
